The sights, sounds and smells of Algonquin Park. Is there anything better than seeing lush green forest and seemingly endless lakes as far as the eye can see. That breath of clean crisp early morning air with a hint of pine. Or the cry of the loon, waves gently lapping on the dock and… not much else, no traffic, no jet skis, just absolute and perfect bliss. This is what being in Algonquin Park is like.
Paige and Greg are High School sweethearts and have overcome probably the biggest challenge that couples that age face, a long distance relationship. Despite being told that it’s just a fling, Greg knew from day one that Paige was his soulmate and despite going to universities hours apart they made it work (high five, Ronak and I know exactly what that’s like).
Killarney Lodge holds a special place in Paige’s heart as she used to work there during the summer while in High School. Initially when Paige and Greg connected with me they were set to get married elsewhere, then the pandemic happened. They were forced to push their wedding from 2020 to 2021 but that push also created an opportunity for them to get married at the historic Killarney Lodge.
Their vision for the day included having a more laid back approach to the day, a fun cocktail hour (that they could take part in) and a wicked party during the reception. Because it was important for Paige and Greg to be present during cocktails they opted for a first look by the lake and we were able to get the vast majority of the photos done pre ceremony.
We rounded off the night with a sparkler send off.
Watch the film for an awesome party vibe, some deep and moving vows and an emotional first look.
