Kristin + John | Nestleton Inn Wedding | Love Photos | Durham Region Wedding Photographer

I recently wrote a post where I mentioned that Fall was my favourite season to shoot weddings. Don’t get me wrong, I love weddings in every season but there is just something special about the Fall, particularly here in Southern Ontario and the Golden Horseshoe. Yes, there are risks, including unseasonably cold temperatures or a higher chance of rain but the benefits can outweigh the drawbacks.

The Fall colours create a beautiful backdrop for outdoor photos and the early sunset means that in most weddings it’s possible to integrate the reds, purples and oranges of a sunset into a wedding shoot. Those are just a few of the reasons why I was really excited to Kristin and John’s wedding at the Nestleton Inn over Thanksgiving weekend.

The Nestleton Inn, simply put, is a gorgeous property, providing a very unique and special backdrop for a wedding. The rooms are tastefully themed and decorated, the grounds are well manicured and the service from the staff and wedding coordinators (multiple) is second to none. Overall just a beautiful spot, especially to get married at, in the outskirts of Durham Region.

The Nestleton Inn paired with a gorgeous Fall day created a completely unforgettable day for Kristen and John's wedding. Kristen and John were absolutely awesome to work with and their bridal party kept the laughs coming throughout the evening.

Congratulations Kristen and John and enjoy the photos!
