It was a very rainy weekend in Durham Region but luckily the rain stopped for Jessica & Logan's wedding, set to the beautiful backdrop of Deer Creek Golf Course in Ajax. I had anxiously been waiting for Jessica & Logan's wedding because I knew how awesome and genuine it would be. To be fair the couples' awesome Durham Region fall engagement shoot, where Logan incorporated his red Harley already set the bar pretty high as far as expectations go so I knew their wedding would definitely be one of a kind.
During our pre-wedding consultation Jessica and Logan decided to go with a reveal which really opened up the opprotunity to take various photos in different parts of the venue. This also gave the couple and the bridal party some room to breathe and provided them the opportunity to chat and mingle with their guests during the cocktail hour. As I mentioned in an earlier post I highly recommend a reveal, particularly if the timing between the ceremony and reception is fairly short. As part of the consultation we also created a rainy day plan (you can see the clear umbrellas in one of the photos) but luckily didn't really have to use it!
As much as being a wedding photographer is a serious job (the pressure of course is immense) it's one of those jobs that really allows you to have fun while you work. For this one I definitely have to shout out the awesome bridal party that kept the laughs coming and of course...
